I recently visited this restaurant that I can't stop raving about! The food was absolutely amazing, and the selection of alcoholic drinks was top-notch. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a wide range of mouthwatering dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The restaurant's drink menu was equally impressive, featuring a diverse selection of craft cocktails, fine wines, and refreshing beers. The mixologists truly knew their craft, as each drink was a work of art in itself. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable culinary adventure paired with fantastic alcohol drinks.
The food was great quality! The servers were friendly and easy to talk to and the atmosphere was awesome! I hope I can come back to try more on the menu!
Tried bubba gumps for many places around, this one in universal city osaka was a good vibe, the staffs were all very friendly and helpful. The food was good. And the favourite coronarita was also a great choice for theme park goers. Had a good experience here for new year's eve
Bubba Gump --seriously speaking-- has always been one of the best chain restaurants around. Every one I've gone to from Times Square to the Bay Area to JAPAN have all been consistently solid seafood fare, and as usual, Japan's take on it is just a little bit better than everywhere else.
After a long day running around Universal Studios Japan in the worst of Japanese summer, my feet were destroyed, and the last thing I wanted to do after exiting the part a little before closing time was to immediately begin the trek back to Kyoto. So instead, I perused the offerings in the restaurant row leading back to the station near USJ. Bubba Gump! Sold!
Not only was the AC a godsend after walking around in 100 degree humidity all day, the drinks kept on coming, the food was fresh and tasty, and to be honest I kind of overdid it. I expected the portions to be on the smallish side, per Japan, but I was surprised when everything that came out was what one might expect at an American branch. Dessert was overkill, but I hung in there and finished it all.
The only downside is that they somehow don't have a bathroom inside the restaurant. You have to walk outside, down the hallway, make a right, make another right, and down that hallway a bit to find the restrooms to wash your hands, and whatnot. If you're like me, and hit the park solo, that means you have to leave your stuff at your table. In Japan, this is pretty much a guarantee that your bags of merch will be just fine, but it is still worth knowing about in advance if you plan to eat here. Best to wash up before settling in for some fish and chips.
All floor staff speak English perfectly. So perfectly that they are subtlety rude. The waitress made it very clear without me asking that our appetizer will arrive well before our food. That completely wasn’t the case. Our food and appetizer came out at the same time. Our appetizer was extremely cold like it had been made hours ago. Even tasted as if it’d been sitting out for hours. Our entrées matched nothing of the description or the hype. I travel quite a bit and typically avoid the tourist areas but I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant for my love of the movie and books. The average person can understand these errors when they are super busy and/or short staff. But neither of those situations were the case. There were no more than a few families in there. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience
Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.
But the surprise of how good Bubba shrimp was was a pleasant one. By Japan standards it’s expensive. But by US amusement park standards it’s normal and cheaper.
This is the closest to southern food I’ve had in over a year. Everything was delicious 😋
Most of the restaurants near Universal studio are average quality. Except this place, everything is very good here. Shrimp are very well prepared. Some of the cocktails are served in goodies glasses that you can take home. If you want fish or seafood this is the best place near the park.
Food was good and the service was great! Really enjoyed the popcorn shrimp and the Cajun shrimp and the fries. I wouldn’t order the mac and cheese again . It was okay, but not the mac and cheese that I was thinking of.
Also ordered the pineapple margarita and it was delicious! They put Cajun seasoning on the rim of the glass and it goes so well with the margarita.
